Glass Smoothing Beveler Features:
The hard bond, 320 grit aluminum oxide smoothing wheel is specifically
formulated to bevel glass. Wheel has been cast to Covington's exact
specifications and is pre-dressed and tested for balance. The working surface
has a 2 degree taper. This means that a straight edge placed at 90 degrees
to a line from bore to rim will touch the stone surface for a length of 1
3/4". This length of contact has the advantage of lessening the chance
of facets (flat spots) when abrading the work piece.
